AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 14, 2026. Union, the AI-powered CRM for multifamily, today announced that Matt Miller has joined the company as vice president of sales. At Union, Miller will lead new business growth and work directly with multifamily owners and management companies as they evaluate and adopt Union across their portfolios.
Miller brings 25 years of multifamily experience spanning property operations and technology sales. His background includes sales leadership roles at RentDynamics, Opiniion, Yardi and Conservice.
Miller is also a frequent industry speaker and panelist, with appearances at NAA and NMHC events in the United States and at PM Expo and BUILDEX events in Canada.
At Union, Miller will work directly with multifamily owners and management companies, from first conversation through rollout and beyond.
“For 25 years, Matt has helped multifamily operators tackle the industry’s most persistent challenges: chronic staffing shortages, fragmented technology, and eroding operating margins,” said Ethan Lacey, CEO of Union.
“Legacy platforms in this space only automate isolated slices of an operation. Union was built differently. Rather than siloing individual tasks, we unify workflows across both leasing and resident operations, then apply AI across the entire lifecycle. Matt recognized the power of that approach immediately, and he brings the industry trust and relationships needed to introduce Union to the operators who need it most.”
“I have sat across the table from a lot of operators who are down a leasing agent and cannot fill the role,” said Miller. “They do not need another dashboard telling them which renewals nobody chased. They need the calls answered, the renewals handled, and the delinquencies worked. That is what made Union different to me.”
Union’s AI, CRM, applications, and renewals products are deployed at multifamily properties across the United States. At one national operator, Union’s AI resolves more than 70% of inbound calls with no transfer.
Union is the AI-powered CRM for multifamily. Operators use it to run marketing, leasing, renewals, and resident revenue on one renter record, replacing four to six point solutions while their property management system stays in place. Union's AI answers prospects by phone and web chat day and night, then hands off to the leasing team when a person is needed. The platform takes renters from application to signed lease in one flow and offers resident-funded products, such as Credit Builder and a monthly security deposit alternative, that add revenue at no cost to the operator. Founded in 2018 by technologists from Amazon, Union built its CRM and AI in-house, so the AI and the leasing team work from the same live record. Union is based in Austin, Texas.
