A TILE INSTALLER SHOULD NOT INSTALL A FIBERGLASS UNIT, AND A PLUMBER SHOULD NOT INSTALL CAST MARBLE WALL PANELS. INSIST ON A REPUTABLE INSTALLER, OR GET THEM TRAINED IN THE PRODUCT CATEGORY. INEXPERIENCE CAN LEAD TO INSTALLATION ERRORS THAT AFFECT INSTALLATION OF SUBSEQUENT PRODUCTS, AND THEY CAN BECOME COSTLY WHEN NEEDING TO ORDER ADDITIONAL REPLACEMENT MATERIAL.
Finally, installation must not be rushed, and the steps involved should not be performed out of order. There must be enough time for adhesives and sealants to cure. In large multifamily and hospitality projects where renovation timelines are compressed, cutting corners on cure time often leads to defects that emerge months later as warranty issues and expensive call-backs throughout the property.
