The 2026 Chicagoland Apartment Marketing and Management Excellence (CAMME) Awards celebrated 54 winners at its 30th annual gala Friday evening, April 11, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Mile. More than 1,000 industry professionals attended the Chicagoland Apartment Association’s prestigious CAMME awards gala to reward excellence in Chicagoland’s multifamily housing industry.
“The CAMME Awards shine a spotlight on the dedicated professionals who set the standard for excellence across Chicagoland’s multifamily housing industry,” said Michael Mini, executive vice president of the CAA.. “From small, independent owners to affordable housing providers and large-scale operators, our members reflect the full diversity of the rental housing community. We’re proud to recognize and celebrate the individuals and teams making a meaningful impact in communities across our region.”
This year, 290 entries were submitted with winners selected based on their ability to meet or exceed a set standard of criteria, including financial and performance goal achievement, overall exterior condition, curb appeal and maintenance of the property, landscaping, condition and design, marketing, community outreach programs and resident satisfaction. Eight properties were recognized with the most prestigious CAMME, the Property Excellence Award, honoring top performance in the following categories:
- Property Excellence – Vintage Buildings: Substantially Renovated
- The Belden-Stratford (Chicago, IL – Lincoln Park West) managed by Waterton
- Property Excellence for Low-Rise/Garden Apartment Buildings Built Between 1974 ‐ 2001
- Arlington Club Apartments (Wheeling, IL), managed by Village Green
- Property Excellence for Low-Rise/Garden Apartment Buildings Built Between 2002 - 2018
- Prairie Winds Apartment Homes (St. Charles), managed by TLC Management Co.
- Property Excellence for Mid-Rise/Hi-Rise Buildings Built Between 1974 - 2001
- 2101 S. Michigan Apartments (Chicago, IL), managed by Ansonia Property Management
- Property Excellence for Mid-Rise/Hi-Rise Buildings Built Between 2002 - 2018
- The Streeter (Chicago, IL), managed by Village Green
- Property Excellence for Mid-Rise/Hi-Rise Buildings built between 2019-2025
