DURHAM, North Carolina (March 24, 2026) – The Spectrum Companies announces the construction start of its latest multifamily community, Vara Trinity Park, providing 267 new residential units to Trinity Park, one of Durham’s most historic and architecturally rich residential neighborhoods.

The community, located at 1618 North Duke St., will include three four- and five-story buildings offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes.

Durham continues to demonstrate strong demand for multifamily housing, supported by sustained population growth, a diverse employment base and continued expansion across Research Triangle Park and the broader Triangle region.

Project partners include BB+M Architecture (architecture and interior design), McAdams (civil engineering and landscape architecture), and Summit Contracting Group (general contractor).
