Houston-based McGrath Real Estate Partners has opened a new residential addition to the Houston Design District commercial center, built to reflect and invite the character of the surrounding area, according to a news release shared with Multifamily Dive.
The 400-unit Artistry Design District is located near the Houston Design Center, an interior design studio space with over 40 showrooms open to the public. The historic Houston Heights neighborhood and the Energy Corridor, home to offices of BP, Enbridge, Citigo, Shell and many other energy employers, are also nearby.
Artistry Design District consists of two four-story L-shaped residential buildings with white and earth tone color block facades separated by a central clubhouse, pool and outdoor stage. Units range from studios to two-bedrooms, 499 to 1,283 square feet in size, and feature in-unit laundry, stainless steel appliances, 9- and 10-foot ceilings and walk-in closets. Select units have dual showerheads, kitchen islands, soaking tubs and built-in bookshelves.

The outdoor stage functions as an event venue for live music and entertainment, overlooking the property’s pool, green spaces, sun deck and cabanas. Other amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center, lounges, a community kitchen, flexible coworking spaces, a Wi-Fi lounge, private office spaces, a dog park and a pet spa.
Open-air parking, garages and carports are also available for residents. Houston-based Asset Living is the property’s manager.
The Houston Design District is located in northwest Houston near the I-10 highway. McGrath Real Estate Partners is one of the district’s founding members, according to the property website.
